Hey everybody! I am only looking around to find some high-quality college to successfully study international affairs. The school or university must be right here in the united States. Somebody just said me that at the moment the Elliott School of International Affairs might be one of all of the recommended around the whole entire united states. Do someone know if that information is just the truth? It would definitely be extremely very nice if anyone have lots of good informations due to me personally.

My stepbrother was down there (he's in the Navy) helping with the relief efforts. He's on leave now back in the states for a bit but I get the feeling he was really shook up by what he saw down there.

My heart goes out to everyone down there. I wish I could help more, I wish there was something I could do other than donating just a couple bucks since I don't have much money to give. But I don't know what I could do. I just have my photos. But it's good to know beautiful hearts like you exist.

I'm still wrestling with a reply for your initial post. An open heart is an invitation to hurt, an open mouth is an invitation to attack. Unfortunately, I was stranded in New Orleans for weeks following Katrina, so I know what it feels like to be forgotten. I was beaten by three young African American men because I was trying to get water dropped on a roof by the military. The high school where the drops took place were gang-controlled and white people weren't welcome. The National Guard did what they could, but there is no possible way to describe the terror of sleeping with looters, kids blowing up buildings, and fires that weren't put out because it was deemed unnecessary (I lived in the upper 9th Ward at the time).

I'm truly sorry for what the Haitians are going through. But I'm afraid my empathy is somewhat lessened by the efforts of some to make this a race-related catastrophe. Maybe it's just me, but I don't understand why people who are Caucasion or of European descent count so little. Again, I know by stating this I am now open to attack. I'm sure I will be. I just don't know why human life is not all valued equally.

I have an open heart, but I also have an open mouth, unfortunately.

Thank you for your work on Haiti and thank you for talking to my wife Jamie when she called into the telethon. Its good to know there are people like you in the entertainment field who are less concerned about publicity and want to genuinely help.

Alyssa, You are the stuff that angels are made of. You are a shining example of how humanity should be. You should have rewritten the world instead of the Avatars.
God bless you. Keep up the great works you do.

i don't know how else to contact you except through these comments. Soory if it isn't the right venue! I wanted to know if you knew of specific people or organizations working on Helping Haiti that wanted to be a part of a story for the GIG website I mentioned before. We are based in San Francisco. As you learned from Toan's Blog(s) we wanna help let ordinary people know they can make a difference and even show them how.

Let me know if you do, or contact GIG through the site. www.goinspirego.com
